On September 13-20, the employees of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations attended Kazkutkaru-2023 international rescue all-round competition organized at the training ground of Tamagaly Tas region of Kapshagai city, Almaty region of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the “Disaster-Emergency Management and Humanitarian Assistance” initiative of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the ministry told APA.
According to the ministry, a two-day Jer-2023 seismic training was held prior to the competitions.
The main goal of the training was to increase the level of preparedness of the civil protection forces for measures to be taken during earthquakes.
