Forest area of 30,000 ha to be restored in Karabakh and East Zangazur

"In accordance with instruction of head of state, working group on implementation of city-building plans in the territories liberated from occupation has started to operate. Master plans of Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Shusha cities have been developed, a process of their confirmation has been conducted," said Deputy Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of Presidential Administration, Head of Secretariat of Coordination Headquarters Nusrat Suleymanov, APA's bureau in Karabakh reports.

N. Suleymanov has noted that another direction relevant to instruction of head of state is removal of environmental damage caused by Armenians in the territories liberated from occupation: "As you know, our environment was seriously damaged by Armenian vandals, our forests were destroyed. An Action Plan on forest restoration measures in the territories liberated from occupation during 2022-2026 has already been confirmed."

According to him, restoration of forests in an area of 30,000 ha in Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions is considered relevant to the Action Plan.
