"There are reports about dead and injured servicemen during the clashes. The parties should be brought to the negotiating table and prevent further escalation. Any escalation of hostilities will have a significant negative impact on the security of the region as a whole. In this regard, the joint efforts of the international community are of particular importance to eliminate tension and restore dialogue. ""Georgia is committed to actively participate in the process of restoring peace and stability in the region by hosting a dialogue between the parties to the conflict," the ministry said in a statement.
