Head of ANAMA: "Mine clearance works are continued in Lachin"

"Mine clearance operations have been started in city of Lachin, residential settlements of Zabukh and Sus with Defense Ministry since these territories returned under control of Azerbaijan," Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov told journalists during the presentation ceremony of ANAMA's new logo, APA reports.

He said that recently, together with the Ministry of Defense, they have released information about the mine clearance work in Lachin.

The chairman of ANAMA noted that mine clearance works are underway in Lachin: "Employees of the Ministry of Defense and ANAMA are there. They are engaged in demining so that the population can return there as soon as possible."
