The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) conducted an operational-tactical training with the participation of the fire-rescue agencies of the Ministry dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, under the "Preventing an incident is easier than eliminating its consequences after it has occurred" slogan, APA reports.
Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, the Secretary-General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) Njoupouo Yap Mariatou, Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nenad Nešić, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Azerbaijan Faisal bin Abdullah Hamad Abdullah Al Hinzab, as well as a group of Qatari officers who attended a course at the Academy of the MES observed the training.
Reported that a total of 445 personnel, 72 different-purpose equipment, 4 helicopters, and 3 trained dogs were involved in the exercise. In particular, a group of employees and equipment of the Red Crescent Society and Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units of Azerbaijan (TABIB) were involved in the training in order to ensure mutual activity in eliminating the consequences of emergency situations.

Msny personnel and equipment were involved in the training.
Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General, General Kamaladdin Heydarov, Secretary-General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) Mrs. Njoupouo Yap Mariatou, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, and other guests observed the training.
The goal set in the training was achieved.
