Education Minister Emin Amrullayev commented on the reports that the schools would not be opened in September due to the increase in coronavirus cases, APA reports.

"We have gained enough experience over the past 2 years. Last year, we did not close education in general without reducing the number of days. I consider that if the infection rate increases, the same experience can be applied again. The infection may increase in the autumn months, which can lead to the temporary closure of classes in individual schools. However, the complete suspension of the academic year is not intended."
