Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany organized large event on May 24 at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Berlin on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.
Several Bundestag members, high-ranking representatives of German state institutions, ambassadors of foreign countries, media representatives, scientific and cultural figures, as well as members of Azerbaijani, Turkish and other communities living in Germany, a total of more than 500 guests attended the event.
The national anthems of Azerbaijan and Germany were performed at the event.
The guests then watched a short movie about Independence Day made by the embassy.
