International conference on missing persons in I Karabakh War is held-PHOTO

First internation al conference on "Forensic Archaeology and Forensic Anthropology: Humanitarian Application" is held, APA reports.

The conference is jointly organized by the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, the Institute of Archaeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The main topic of the conference is the missing persons in the I Karabakh war.

Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Azerbaijan Dragana Kojic, Vice-President of ANAS Isa Habibbayli, Head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons Ismail Akhundov, Director General of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS Abbas Seyidov and officials of other state institutions and public representatives participate at the conference.
