Marble stones pulled down by Armenians from graves of Azerbaijanis were found in Armenian house in Azikh village-PHOTO

APA employees discovered tombstones pulled down from cemeteries belonging to Azerbaijanis in Khojavand in a house where Armenians live, APA's Karabakh bureau reports.

Tombstones belonging to 20 Azerbaijanis were found during filming in the Azikh village of Khojavend region. Marble stones were discovered in the garage of the house where the Armenian family lives. Names, dates of birth, and death are written on the tombstones:

Garayev Ali Zulfugar (1933-1992)

Huseynova Telli Shirin (1903 -1991)

Mammadov Sarkhan Gulmali (1886-1975)

Hajiyeva Beyim Alakbar 1912-1989,

Mammadova Shamama Namaz (1894-1978)

Safiyev Farhad Mursal (1917-1993)

Atakishiyeva Bayaz Shirin (1906-1979)

Guliyev Ayyub Huseynali (1924-1991)

Hasanov Soltan Shirin (1928-1999)

Abbasov Gadir Allahyar (1971-1983)

Zeynalov Umud Salim (1926-1990)

Some tombstones have pictures, though no names.

Note that the Azikh village of the Khojavand region came under the control of Armenian armed forces in 1993 and was liberated from occupation on November 9, 2020. Currently, the village is considered to be contaminated with mines and unexploded ordnance. Employees of the Azerbaijan Republic Mine Clearance Agency (ANAMA) helped APA employees to visit the village and provided security.
