Microchip to be placed under skin of horses in Azerbaijan

Microchips will be placed under the skin of horses and camels in Azerbaijan, it has been reflected in the "Rules for monitoring the implementation of veterinary measures for the diagnosis and prevention of animal diseases and the identification of farm animals that allow for the observation of each animal or group of animals for this purpose" of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

In accordance with the Decision, the ear tag for identification of horses and camels will be carried out by making tattoos on the inner surface of the ears, and leg bands of the breeding birds will be carried out by ringing their legs.

In accordance with the project, ear tags of the horses and camels will be carried out by placing microchips under the skin and leg bands of the group of the birds will be carried out by applying leg bands on their habitats.
