Co-chair of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Montenegro from the Azerbaijani side, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev met with the new head of the Diplomatic Office of Montenegro in Azerbaijan Milica Buric, APA reports citing the ministry.
Honorary Consul of Montenegro to Azerbaijan Vugar Aliyev also attended the meeting. Sahil Babayev congratulated Milca Burici on her appointment as the new head of the Montenegrin diplomatic mission in our country.
He stressed that relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro, based on high-level political dialogue and friendly relations, are constantly developing. He noted that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Montenegro increased by 3.75 times in 2021 compared to 2020.
The Minister informed about the socio-economic achievements in Azerbaijan, the recent reforms in the field of labor, employment, and social protection, and the positive results of these reforms.
