According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the next group of the flexible rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) in the brotherly country, in order to eliminate the consequences of the strong earthquake that occurred in the Republic of Turkiye and to support the search and rescue operations, left Adana airport for Baku by plane, APA reports.
Mehmet Aksu, head of Imamoglu district, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ayse Sarac from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and Cumhur Özkaptan, representative of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), sent the forces from the airport.
The Turkish officials noted that agile rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out their activities in the earthquake area with high professionalism and they made sacrifices in order to rescue people under the rubble.
