Protocol of intent on cooperation was signed between Shusha and the cities of Andong, Cusco and Corinth

On November 14, the opening ceremony of the 18th World Conference of the “League of Historic Cities” was held in Andong, South Korea, APA reports.

The conference is attended by the delegation led by Anar Karimov, a special representative of the Azerbaijani President in the Shusha region, and officials of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Korea.

Note that the conference held on November 14-16 is being held under the theme "Historic City Towards a Community-Based Future".

Within the framework of the conference, a quadripartite protocol of intent on cooperation was signed between Andong of Korea, Shusha of Azerbaijan, Cusco of Peru, and Corinth of Greece, which are considered historical cities.

Bilateral meetings were also held with Mehmet Dundar, head of Osmangazi municipality of Bursa, Turkiye, and Daisaku Kadokawa, secretary general of TSL, mayor of Kyoto, Japan, who participated in the conference.
