Russian Community members in Azerbaijan visit area of protest action on Azerbaijan's Lachin-Khankendi road

Today, members of the Russian Community in Azerbaijan arrived at the area of the protest action held on the Lachin-Khankendi road, APA'S correspondent assigned to Shusha reports.

First deputy chairman of the Russian Community in Azerbaijan Dmitri Anisimov, the daughters of National Hero Yuri Kovalev, who was martyred at the First Karabakh War, Regina Kovalyova, Yuluana Kovalyova, journalist Anastasia Lavrina, the nephew of Dmitri Solntsev, a martyr of the Patriotic War, Anar Suleymanov, and others studied the course of the action, met and talked with the protesters.

Notably, eco-activists and NGO representatives have been holding protest action on the Lachin-Khankendi road since December 12 last year against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the territories of Azerbaijan under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers.
