Russian peacekeepers offered to allow the delivery of 40 tons of flour sent from Baku to Khankandi. But Armenian bandits in Garabagh did not accept their offer, APA reports.
According to David Ishkhanyan, head of the Dashnaks in Garabagh, the matter of the delivery of the humanitarian cargo sent from Baku to Khankendi was discussed with the command of the Russian peacekeepers yesterday, but negotiations didn’t yield results.
David Ishkhanyan said that the new commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent just arrived in Garabagh and he’s still not familiar with the situation.
Note that on August 29, the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) sent 40 tons of flour to residents of Armenian origin living in Garabagh.
Two trucks loaded with 40 tons of flour have been waiting at the Russian peacekeepers' post located on the Aghdam-Khankandi road since yesterday.
Discussions are underway with Russian peacekeepers to facilitate the delivery of the cargo to Khankandi.
