“The World Health Organization has said there will be a flu virus in the northern hemisphere,” said specialist-expert of the Ministry of Health, infectious disease specialist Tayyar Eyvazov, APA reports.
According to him, vaccinations in this regard were recommended to the elderly, children, to people with other diseases: “Besides coronavirus there will be other respiratory virus infections. They circulate from time to time. Despite they are highly contagious, death cases are not so high. In case of quarantine measures the number of such infections decrease. As quarantine measures are eased, as in normal years, these viral infections are common.”
