SSS solemnly marks the 104th anniversary of establishment of Azerbaijani security agencies

The 104th anniversary of the establishment of Azerbaijan’s security bodies was solemnly celebrated by State Security Service, APA reports.
By the relevant order signed by national leader Heydar Aliyev on May 23, 1997, March 28 was established as a professional holiday for employees of security agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the establishment of the security agencies of Azerbaijan and the professional holiday, the head of the State Security Service, Colonel-General Ali Nagiyev and the leading employees of the Service visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor, laid a wreath in front of it and expressed their deep respect for the dear memory of the genius. The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, and academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated and flowers were arranged on her grave.
