State Agency does not exclude purchase of new batch of vaccines  this year

The State Agency on Mandatory Medical Insurance carries out the purchase of vaccines in accordance with the requirements determined by the relevant institutions of the country, the agency told APA.

The agency informed that in 2021, 16,937,790 doses of vaccines (2,114,190 doses of Pfizer-Biontech, 453,600 doses of AstraZeneca, 14,150,000 doses of CoronaVac, 220,000 doses of "Sputnik V") were brought to the country. In 2022, 1,200,000 doses of "CoronaVac" were purchased by the country.

"Currently, the country has a vaccine reserve based on demand. In the case of additional demand for the purchase of vaccines, it is not excluded to sign a contract with relevant organizations," - it was stated in the statement.
