TURKSOY: Shusha is no longer center of tears, but of our freedom and brotherhood

On May 12, the official opening program of the declaration of Shusha as the "cultural capital of the Turkish world" by the International Organization of Turkish Culture (TURKSOY) will take place, Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev said, APA reports.

Sultan Raev pointed out that Shusha is important for the entire Turkic world: "We are ready to bring together the entire Turkic world in the city of Shusha, where the people of Azerbaijan have made great contributions not only to the Turkic world, but also to world culture and civilization. As a result of the victory of the heroic Azerbaijani people, Shusha is no longer the center of tears and sadness, but of our freedom, independence and brotherhood."
