The US Embassy in Azerbaijan hosted an "open day," APA reports.
The embassy organized an open day for students and media representatives as part of a series of events on the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan-US diplomatic relations.
The event also hosted an exhibition and stand highlighting the cooperation between the United States and Azerbaijan and its future opportunities and priorities.
Welcoming the guests, US Ambassador Lee Litzenberger said that the United States and Azerbaijan have been cooperating for 30 years in the fields of rule of law, human rights, economy, energy, and security.
"As a friend of Azerbaijan, the United States is ready to help find peace and construct the economic, transportation, and people-to-people connections to help the entire region prosper.”
The diplomat said that during the event, students will be able to get information about educational opportunities in the United States, job opportunities at the embassy, the information about the history of the two countries.
