“We have been on Aghdam-Asgaran-Khankandi road for 4 days now, the talks are underway,” said General Secretary of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) Jeyhun Mirzayev, APA’s Garabagh bureau reports.
He stated that they are currently waiting for an adequate answer: “We will disclose the information when there are any results. We will stay here until the food cargoes we brought are delivered to the Armenian residents in Khankandi.”
Note that a cargo convoy sent from Baku by the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society to meet the needs of Armenian-origin residents of Garabagh has been on the Aghdam-Khankandi road for the 4th day. Two trucks loaded with a total of 40 tons of flour have been waiting in front of the post of the Russian peacekeepers on the Aghdam-Khankandi road since August 29. Employees of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and volunteers spend the night in tents set up in the area.
The representatives of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society presented the quality certificate of the cargo they brought to the Russian peacekeepers temporarily deployed in the territory of Azerbaijan.
