WHO representative: “Vaccination rates in Azerbaijan are very good”

“Seasonal vaccination against COVID-19 would be a very effective solution,” said Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, APA reports.

According to him, we have not yet reached the point where one dose should be injected and finished: “In general, the progress of the events is good. However, I would ask for everyone to get vaccinated for their health. If someone has already been vaccinated, they must be vaccinated with a booster dose. I was received by Azerbaijani President yesterday and also noted there that vaccination rates are very good here. The sharing of vaccines and medical supplies with other countries is commendable. I express gratitude to your country in this regard. It is a step directed to strengthen global solidarity.”
