Azerbaijan and Pakistan launch direct flights

Azerbaijan and Pakistan will launch direct flights starting March 16, Pakistan's ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Haye told APA-Economics.

"The first plane from Pakistan will land in Baku on March 16. We expect the flights to be conducted two or three times a week. These direct flights will help businessmen from both sides to establish business contacts and improve trade between the two countries," the ambassador said.

Heydar Aliyev International Airport told APA-Economics that a flight from Lahore, Pakistan to Baku will be launched on March 16. The plane will then fly from Baku to Karachi (Pakistan), from there to Lahore, and from Lahore to Baku again.
