Georgia's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili has discussed implementation of joint tourism projects and presentation of region at the international level at his meetings in Baku, APA's bureau in Georgia reports.
While assessing the meetings on the sideline of his visit, Levan Davitashvili has said so.
He noted that there are close relations and ties between the two countries, which is important in terms of attracting foreign investment to the region: "We talked not only about specific strategic areas such as transport, energy, communications, where our countries have extensive experience in close cooperation but also about digital transformation, cooperation in the tourism sector, attracting more investment in tourism infrastructure."
