Azerbaijan received 1,6 times more foreigners in January than relevant period of 2022

In January of 2023, 119,1 thousand foreigners and stateless people visited the Republic of Azerbaijan which is 1,6 times more compared to the relevant period of the previous year, the State Border Service of state told APA.

Compared to the same period in 2022, the number of arrivals from Pakistan increased by 9.9 times, from India - by 8.6 times, Turkmenistan - by 5.0 times, Uzbekistan - by 5.0 times, Belarus - by 3.6 times, China - by 3.1 times, Kazakhstan - by 3.0 times, from Kuwait - 2.9 times, from Oman - 2.2 times, from Israel - 2.1 times, from the United Arab Emirates - 1.9 times, from Georgia - 1.6 times, from the USA - 1.6 times, from the Russian Federation - 1.5 times, from Great Britain - 47.6 percent, from Türkiye- 40.7 percent, from Ukraine - 19.8 percent, from Iran - 15.6 percent.
