"We have decided to apply more concessions for tourists from Azerbaijan," said Iran's Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicraft Aliasghar Shalbafian told APA as part of the Sari 2022 tourism event in Sari, Mazandaran province.
According to him, such events aim to acquaint citizens of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation with each other's tourist areas and facilitate their visits.
Speaking about Iran's programs envisaged for Azerbaijani tourists, Shalbafian said that Iran is preparing a special program for Azerbaijani tourists.
"The program includes the use of medical services by Azerbaijani citizens in Iran, the organization of trips to tourist areas and shrines. We are working to facilitate the organization of these visits," he said.
