"Our countries can cooperate for the proper assessment of the rich cultural heritage of Karabakh," said Nadir Alpaslan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye, APA reports.
He said that the works are underway in this direction.
Nadir Alpaslan also noted that the announcement of Shusha as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2023 is also very essential in terms of increasing the tourist flow: "In this context, the number of our citizens who want to travel to this region, especially after the Karabakh victory, is quite high. If the necessary comfort is provided in this sense, these trips will increase bilaterally."
