“Opening of land borders may increase the risk for the situation which is currently under control due to the pandemic,” the head of the press service of Tourism Agency Kanan Guluzade told APA-Economics.
“Currently, there is no ground connection. We are a tourism agency in the country and we want borders to be open. However, we also understand that there are risks. The safety and health of the population are the main priority for many countries. Now it is considered that if land borders are open, it can bring risk to the situation which is currently under control due to the pandemic. As a tourism agency, we are in favor of the opening of the borders, however, now this is a prevailing fact that health is above all. But we hope that borders will open whenever,” K. Guluzade noted.
