Raids kick off against people not wearing medical mask in Azerbaijan: Restrictions to be applied

The raids have been launched from today by police officers and military servicemen of internal troops against people not wearing a medical mask on the country’s territories, said the head of press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ehsan Zahidov in his statement to APA.

The implementation of the raids is being fulfilled in accordance with requirements of the special sanitary regime applied on the country’s territory from May 1: “In the raids, the citizens are required to wear without fail a medical mask protecting respiratory passages when leaving home, being in closed spaces, especially in public catering enterprises, in public transport, to observe 2 meters distance when communicating with other people, and in general, to strictly comply with the rules prescribed for the period of the quarantine regime. The administrative measures will be taken in regard to the citizens not complying with these rules. Also, the restrictions will be imposed to access to public transport and closed spaces for people not wearing a medical mask”.

Citizens are required to use of medical mask definitely, which protects the respiratory system, while going outhouse, in closed places, especially public catering facilities, public transportation, maintain 2 meters distance during contact with people, and as a whole seriously follow rules, determined for quarantine regime during raids. Administrative measures will be taken regarding the citizens, who violate these rules. At the same time entry of those, who do not use a medical mask, to public transportation and closed places will be restricted.”
