The weak magnetic excitation has started on the Sun, director of Shamakhy Astrophysics Observatory named after N. Tusi Namig Jalilov told APA.
The G1 level excitation hasn’t occurred directly on the Sun. This is a short-term process emerged as a result of impact on the Earth’s magnetic field of the plasmas coming out of the crown holes on the Sun.
And generally, at present time, the Sun is in its passive period.
