On August 1, Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in the forest near Honuba village of the Yardimli village, APA reports citing the website of (MES).
Fire departments of the State Fire Protection Service, personnel of the Special Risk Rescue Service and the Southern Regional Center, as well as employees of the Forestry Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and local residents were involved in the firefighting. Currently, operative and urgent measures are being continues in order to extinguish the fire.
According to preliminary data, about 15 hectares of land are burned with autumn leaves, bushes, dried tree stumps, and partially trees.
