A fire was reported in Baku's Yasamal district, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.
Fire protection units of the Ministry's State Fire Protection Service and relevant rescue forces of the Special Risk Rescue Service were called to the scene of the fire.
According to preliminary information, as a result of operative and urgent measures, about 80 residents of the building were evacuated to a safe area.
As a result of the rapid intervention of fire departments, the fire was contained for a short time and extinguished at 21:36.
