The fire that occurred in the forest strip near the Honuba village of the Yardimli region (mountainous area with the complex relief) has been extinguished, APA reports citing the website of the Azerbaijani MES.

According to the information, during the fire, shrub, autumn leaves, dry tree stumps and trees burned in an area of 32 hectares.

The rest of the forest strip has been protected from fire.

A fire that occurred in the forest strip in the mountainous area near the Honuba village of the Yardimli region has been extinguished, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan told APA.

Note that in order to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading large area, a total of 130 personnel from the fire protection units of the Ministry's State Fire Protection Service, Civil Defense Troops and the Southern Regional Center, as well as employees of the Forestry Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and local residents are carrying out fire extinguishing works in complex mountainous terrain condition (manual labor is mainly used to extinguish the fire).
