"Reports about civilians injured as a result of mine accidents have increased after autumn of 2020," said Vice-President of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Gilles Carbonnier in his interview with APA.

"Mines and unexploded weapons are creating a serious threat to security and safety of people. We have a team of specialists who disseminate knowledge on how to behave in a safe way in those areas and raise awareness on the risks. They also train volunteers of Azerbaijan Red Crescent (AzRC) who in their turn also meet community members and spread information," noted the ICRC Vice-President.
