Indictment announced in trial of foreign citizen involved in the fighting in Karabakh -UPDATED-1 -PHOTO

Trial on a criminal case of Dubakov Eduard Sergeyevich, a Russian citizen involved in the Karabakh war from the Armenian side has been held, APA reports.

The trial in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, chaired by Judge Samir Aliyev, was declared investigation open.

An indictment has been announced in the trial.

The judge announced that if charges are proved during the trial period, the accused person can be sentenced from 8 years to 15 years in prison.
Eduard Dubakov considered himself partially guilty.

Eduard Dubakov noted that his father is Armenian born in Baku, his relatives live in Khankendi and Asgardian. He stated that he has contact with his relatives. Eduard Dubakov also said that he has been several times in the occupied territories.

The trial will be continued on July 7.
