Members of the Armenian terrorist group: "We were ordered to apply armed resistance to the Azerbaijani military"-UPDATED

Today, the trial on the criminal case of 14 members of the Armenian terrorist group Avakyan Grach Arzumanovich, Serobyan Gegam Samvelovich, Bagasyan Armen Yegizari, Gasparyan Gor Vagramini, Sefilyan Kamo Karenovich, Hakobyan Volodiya Vachagani, Asatryan Gevorg Norairovich, Yengoyan Sisak Grishai, Petrosyan Albert Kamoevich, Sedrakyan Romik Misakini, Minasyan Aram Garnikovich, Minosyan Mkrtich Simonovich, Matesyan Edgar Vachaganovich and Karapetyan Yuri Tigranovich who are accused of committing terrorist and provocation acts and other acts in Azerbaijan has been continued, APA reports.

Petrosyan Albert Kamoyevich has testified at the trial at the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, chaired by Judge Afgan Hajiyev.

He has testified in the same way as the other accused persons.

He noted that they were not pressured after being detained by the Azerbaijani military: “They treated us humanely. They gave us cigarettes and water. We handed over our weapons to them. There were 300-400 Azerbaijanis.”

Later, Gasparyan Gor Vagramin testified in the process. He said he was called to the military commissariat in Gyumri in November and taken to Lachin, and from there to the mountains in the direction of Hadrut: “A few days later, when we came down from the mountain, we were detained by the Azerbaijani servicemen. We handed over our weapons and surrendered.”

Answering the prosecutor's question, the accused person said that they passed by the peacekeepers in Lachin with their weapons.

Gasparyan Gor Vagrami's testimony to the investigation was also announced. He said in his testimony that their purpose had been to prevent anyone from passing through the area where they were standing guard: “The task was that if someone came from the Azerbaijani side, we had to attempt armed resistance.”

Accused Minasyan Aram Garnikovich, Sefilyan Kamo Karenovich, Bagasyan Armen Yegizari, and Yengonyan Sisak Grishai, and others have also testified similarly in the trial.

Their testimonies to the preliminary investigation have also been announced.

Mentioned persons noted during the investigation that they were ordered on armed interference on the case of approach of servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army to the area, where they were.

The judge announced that testimonies of all accused persons have listened.

“There are two witnessed on the case. They will be invited and listened to in the next trial,” noted the judge.

The trial will be continued on July 2.
