The airplane flying from Baku to Dubai took off from Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The flight was carried out at 01:53 local time, Heydar Aliyev International Airport told APA.

The captain of the airline of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), flying from Baku to Dubai, requested landing back at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The reason for the unplanned landing of the Airbus A319 aircraft was activation of the smoke detector in the luggage compartment, the airport told APA.
At 23:28 Baku time the plane landed safely at Baku airport . It was found out that the detector was accidentally switched on.
There were 113 people, including crew members, onboard and no casualty reported.
Flight passengers will fly to Dubai via a reserve plane.
