SOCAR releases information on death incident at “Gunashli” oilfield

On July 15, at 18:50 dead body of the operator of scientific research production area Valikhanov Seymur Alihuseyn oglu, born in 1980 was found fallen at the bathroom of the deepwater jacket № 14 of “Gunashli” oilfield. His death is identified, APA reports citing SOCAR.

According to the initial expert opinion, the reason for death incident was head injury and blood leakage to the brain.

“The reasons of the incident are investigated by the relevant commission created according to the order of the general director of the “Azneft” Production Union. Additional information regarding the incident will be revealed soon”, said in SOCAR’s statement.
