Another earthquake measuring magnitude 3.3 struck Azerbaijan’s Saatli district on Thursday at 10:50 pm (local time), the Republican Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told APA.
The quake that occurred at a depth of 46 kilometers went unnoticed.
An earthquake measuring magnitude 5.3 occurred in Azerbaijan’s Saatli district on Thursday morning.
The quake occurred at a depth of 39 kilometers. Underground tremors in the epicenter were felt up to magnitude 5, in nearby settlements magnitude 3-4.
The tremors were also felt in the districts of Kurdamir, Shamakhi, Agshu, Hajigabul, Sabirabad and Fuzuli.
