Azerbaijan’s Interior Ministry has commented on the death of the detainee at Goranboy district police department.
“Goranboy resident Rashad Garayev suddenly lost his consciousness while being interrogated at the district police department on the basis of a complaint of a district resident. Despite immediate medical aid, he died at the police department,” the ministry said in a statement to APA on Monday.
The district prosecutor’s office is investigating the fact.
