Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. The Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations and law-enforcement authorities have jointly conducted raids in five religious stores in Baku’s Sabail and Nasimi districts.
The raids revealed that none of the stores are engaged in specialized selling of religious books and goods, the State Committee told APA.
Moreover, law-enforcement authorities seized 433 banned and unmarked religious books.
An investigation is underway into the violations.
