The Ministry of Culture, Baku City Executive Authority and Heydar Aliyev Foundation have announced an open sculpture tender for the preparation of statue of Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev, ONA reports.
According to Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the statue is intended to be built on Istiglaliyyat Street, near the Icharishahar subway station. The deadline for submitting applications and sketch is June 30, 2019.
The jury staff of the tender has also been formed.
The following persons have been included to the jury:
Vagif Aliyev – First Deputy Minister of Culture;
Farhad Khalilov – Chairman of the Union of Azerbaijan’s Artists, People’s Artists of Azerbaijan;
Elbay Gasimzadeh – Chairman of the Union of Architects, Honored Architect ;
Ismayil Huseynov – Head of Art Department of the Ministry of Culture;
Emin Mammadov – Expert on Artistic issues of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Honored art worker;
Mahabbat Mehdiyeva – Department Director of Heydar Aliyev Center;
Akif Asgarov – People’s Artist, sculptor, professor;
Rahiba Aliyeva – head of the department on conservation and restoration of Architecture works of ANAS Architecture and Art Institute;
Galib Gasimov – Head of Decorative Art Unit of the Ministry of Culture, art critic.
