In 2019, Azerbaijan exported 628 509,58 tones of fruit and vegetables worth $ 605 815,86 thousand to foreign countries, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the indicators published by State Customs Committee.
During the last year, the value of fruit and vegetables export of Azerbaijan decreased by 8.2%, while the volume decreased by 1.2% in comparison to 2018.
Note that in 2019, fruits and vegetables exported from Azerbaijan were mainly tomato paste (174.5 thousand tones), hazelnut (22,6 thousand tons), apple (96,8 thousand tons) and date (146 thousand tons).
