Azerbaijan increased import of honey by 12% last year

122,67 tones of natural honey in the amount of USD 479,15 thousand has been imported to Azerbaijan last year, APA-Economics reports citing the report of the State Statistics Committee.

According to the calculations, this figure has decreased by 2,2% in the terms of value in comparison to 2019. while it has increased by 12% in terms of volume.

Most honey has been imported from Turkey in terms of value. Thus, this country has exported 31,43 tones of natural honey in the amount of 175,25 thousand dollars to Azerbaijan in the reporting period and this is appropriately 5,5% and 11,3% less than in comparison to the figure of the previous year.
