Turkish military personnel will be trained to learn how to use “S-400” zenith missile system to be bought from Russia, in Azerbaijan, ONA reports citing the “Yeni Shafak” newspaper.
According to information, Ministry of Defence of Turkey and General Staff of the Armed Forces of Turkey is selecting 100 military servicemen that will participate in exercises. It is stated that Azerbaijani side invites their Turkish counterparts who will attend exercises for “S-400” in Russia firstly to train on “S-300” missiles in Azerbaijan.
Turkish military personnel will go from Azerbaijan to Russia in summer months. They will return back to Turkey in 2020 and train other military staff in Ankara.
It should be noted that on December 29, 2009, Moscow and Ankara signed a loan agreement with the S-400 missile complex.
