‘Both state and citizens have great expectations from agriculture, agrarian sector. Azerbaijani president set the agrarian policy as one of the significant directions of the state policy. It’s important to establish social partnership relations in the agrarian field as in other fields’, Assistant to the President for Agrarian Policy Issues, Head of Department Azer Amiraslanov said.

According to him, there is need for formation of an expert society today: ‘Today, an expert society has been formed in other fields. We’d like to have experts in agriculture. It’s necessary to acknowledge that we are not always able to provide contact among agrarian education, agrarian science, agrarian researches, and agrarian production. According to a well-known scientist, lack of agricultural knowledge cannot be compensated by increase of fertilizer, number of technique, allocations from the budget. Indeed, without relevant management, knowledge, information, it’s impossible to fill this void. Unlike other fields, the agrarian field is purely connected with the science. Without science, no progress is impossible in this field’.
