American author Stephen King says 'false information' allowed in Facebook's political advertising and concerns with user privacy are the reasons he's logging off Facebook, APA reports citing MAINE.
King said fans can keep up with him on Twitter instead. He commented on his Facebook post saying, "This page will go dark at midnight."
"I'm quitting Facebook. Not comfortable with the flood of false information that's allowed in its political advertising, nor am I confident in its ability to protect its users' privacy. Follow me (and Molly, aka The Thing of Evil) on Twitter, if you like," author twitted.
