Eyyub Guliyev wins in international competition of conductors in Romania

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova – APA. Young Azerbaijani conductor Eyyub Guliyev won in the international competition of conductors in Craiova, Romania.
Guliyev told APA that the competition was held on September 20-26. 32 conductors from 15 countries participated in the competition. Conductors from Canada, France, UK, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Romania, Brazil, Poland, Japan, China, Korea, Belarus and Azerbaijan represented their countries at the competition. Eyyub Guliyev took the first place. Representatives of Spain Martinez Orts and Maria Cabalio took the second place and Kazimir Damrjovski took the third place.
The competition was organized by Romanian Culture Ministry, Craiova mayor’s office, Craiova State Opera Theater and Craiova Conductors Association. The competition consisted of four stages. In the first stage the participants performed with “Craiova virtuoso†chamber orchestra, in the second stage with soloists, choir and orchestra of State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Elena Teodorini, in the third and fourth stages with Oltenia State Philharmonic Society.
