Some 162 people have died of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iran during the past day, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
The relevant information has been disseminated by Iran’s Health Ministry.
The report says the total number of people died of coronavirus in Iran so far has reached 10,670.
Some 2,536 coronavirus infection cases have been recorded in Iran during the past day, while the total number of people infected with COVID-19 so far has reached 225,205.
A total of 186,180 people have recovered from this disease so far.
Currently, the health condition of 3,037 people out of the patients being the virus carriers is severe or moderate-to-severe.
