“Saying to the Azerbaijani state that “it shouldn’t use its legal defense right” instead of conveying condolence and providing support to the Azerbaijani people, means provision of support to Armenia. It is not fair to hold equal the cruel and the humble. The international community should condemn Armenia”, said spokesman of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) at the meeting with media representatives, APA’s local bureau reports.
He said Armenia’s attacks on Azerbaijan’s residential settlements are an obvious violation of Geneva Agreement of 1949: "Therefore, Turkey considers Azerbaijan rightful in its fight for territorial integrity and stands by the brotherly country. As soon as Armenia leaves the Azerbaijani lands occupied by it, this problem will be solved".
